Privacy notice

This notice explains how Lasclottes / French Riverside Holidays uses personal information when you visit this website, make an enquiry or begin a booking.

Who is responsible for your information

Sally Spencer, trading as Lasclottes / French Riverside Holidays and registered in the French Registre national des entreprises (RNE) under SIREN 521 892 992 and SIRET 521 892 992 00012, is responsible for the information described here. For privacy questions or requests, email info@lasclottes.com or write to Lieu-dit Las Clottes, 47140 Saint-Sylvestre-sur-Lot, France.

Information we collect

When you make an enquiry or booking, we may receive your name, email address, telephone number, arrival and departure dates, number of guests, your message, booking price information and confirmation that you accepted the equipment and safety statement. Card details are entered directly into Stripe and are not stored by this website.

Our hosting provider may also process limited technical information, such as IP address, browser type, requested page and security logs, to deliver and protect the website.

Why we use it

  • to answer enquiries and take steps towards a booking;
  • to administer and provide an agreed stay;
  • to process and reconcile payments;
  • to keep financial, tax and booking records where required;
  • to prevent fraud, misuse and security incidents; and
  • to meet legal obligations.

Services that help run the website

We use service providers only where needed to operate the website and bookings. These include Cloudflare for live hosting and security, Vercel for restricted pre-launch testing, Neon for booking records, Stripe for card checkout and Resend for transactional email. The website's fonts and photographs are served locally. Google Maps is used only if you choose to load the location map. WhatsApp, what3words and attraction websites are external links; their own privacy terms apply after you open them.

How long we keep information

We keep enquiry information only for as long as it is useful for responding and follow-up. Confirmed booking, payment and accounting records may be kept longer where needed to perform the booking, resolve a dispute or comply with tax and legal requirements. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or securely anonymised.

Sharing and international processing

Information may be handled by the service providers above and by professional advisers or public authorities where legally required. Some providers may process data outside the UK or European Economic Area under their applicable legal safeguards.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your information, and to receive a portable copy. You may also complain to the relevant data-protection authority. Contact us first at info@lasclottes.com and we will respond as required by law.

Cookies and external content

The core website does not use advertising cookies or load third-party fonts or photographs. Google Maps is not requested until you select “Load Google Map”. If you load the map or follow an external link, that service may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details under its own privacy terms.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when the website, booking process or legal requirements change. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
